Hi everyone,

How have we reached the end of season already, with just this weekend to go before we finish Horning Sailing Club’s 2021 sailing?! The year seems to have flown by and we really hope that you’ve enjoyed the activities both on and off the water.

It’s going to be another busy weekend, with the AGM Friday night, sailing on Hoveton Little Broad Saturday afternoon, the Flag Officers’ Party after sailing on Saturday (all welcome), and Club racing on the river Sunday. Hope to see you then to finish the 2021 season in style.

Last weekend we held our Autumn Regatta on Hoveton Little Broad – despite the forecast for strong winds, it was an enjoyable morning’s racing with both a keelboat and dinghy ‘bloodbath’ style race – read about it here: https://horning-sailing.club/news/autumn-regatta-3rd-october-2021/

The full Trophy List (exc. End of Season) is now available on the HSC website here: https://data.horning-sailing.club/media/racing-results/HSC_Trophy_List_Pre-EOS_2021.pdf

HSC AGM

A reminder that our AGM will be held on Friday 8th October, commencing at 8pm, both in-person at Horning Village Hall, which is situated at the top of Mill Loke, and online via Zoom. The login details have been emailed to members.

Hope to see you there.

Our Annual End of Season Supper, Officers’ Handover and Annual Prizegiving will take place on the evening of Friday 22nd October 2021 at The Boathouse in Ormesby (Full address is: The Boathouse, Eels Foot Road, Ormesby St Michael, Norfolk, NR29 3LP).
